Mazda 6 woes

Postby cwellington » September 6th, 2010, 4:13 pm

Can any one assist me here? I got a local used mazda 6 2003 from southern sales. Now since I got the car, it's been no end of issues. Honestly I just love the car hence the reason I haven't sold it already. Dealing with SS is the worst. I really need to source a compressor for my a/c unit. SS told me 7000 and they have no clue when they getting any. The top dash pocket hinges are broken, I need the two roof molding strips and the a/c vents for center console. If anyone knows of any places that sell mazda 6 parts in Trinidad or anyone that brings in parts. I'll be very grateful. If not, look out for a mazda 6 on the market early next year going for about 70 gran cause I can't deal with the SS hassle.

hey dealing with SS can be very frustrating at times but at least you sure to get the original parts. The port of spain branch is normally a lot more helpful than south so you should probably try them if you were dealing with south b4.
Fiaz in Marabella normally has a lot of Mazda parts so you can probably try them as well. The a/c vents and pocket might be sourced foreign used. I saw seenath's has one and bamboo marketing I think has 2.

hope this helps.

Mazda 6 is a bess ride. so all the best.

I know Fiaz, reached down there when I was looking for velocity joints. Trust me POS SS is the worst. I leave arima and head down south because I get through faster and the info is more accurate. If I ever get to POS it's because I had absolutely no choice and the actually picked up the phone and didn't leave me there holding until my money ran out. I'll be checking out seenath and bamboo marketing, thanks a heap man!

the center ac vents you can get from M&N, seenaths in bamboo should have the other stuff, but they kinda pricey

i actually find Bamboo Marketing is the bess when it comes to prices for foreign used anything.
I agree with southern sales keeping you on hold forever. But a time i went south to buy plugs and oil filter and they took like a year to print the invoice on the stone age computer, nobody asked me how i paying then when i reached by the cashier the woman who i find is a complete pig told me if i paying with card they have to do over the invoice n put that i paying with linx. imagine i took forever to get an invoice how long it gonna take to get a reprint... time is valuable i paid with cash... everytime after that once i walk in i tell them "paying with...."
never really dealt with north other than on the phone but they seem a lot more customer oriented over the phone in north than south
