yeh tuners tryin to help a fren here...she has a rx8 2004 model, a check light shape like a house coming on also it idles rough went park not while driving...any views or forums that can help us here...

Sounds like the low coolant level light.

Coolant bottle level sensor is busted - needs changing. Doesn't really affect anything, but it is quite common in the older 8's. Most times the sensor in the bottle just gets covered in gunk or something.

If your friend doesn't know what the basic warning lights mean in this car, she should sell the it and buy an Almera.

its your coolant light .... your coolant is low top it up ........
as for the idle problem all mazda vehicles has engine mounting problems you get a vibration if it gets worse ..... change your mount rubbers if the light hasn't come off you will need to change your coolant sensor which you cant get easily and you may need to buy a water bottle which is approx 1k
