Question ppl . help appreciated; the 99-2000 323 the rear springs are not conical right? i wanted to findout if the mazdaspeed springs which are conical at the back will fit as replacement for these non conical springs, thanks for any answers, i'm not sure, but ent if the shocks are the same then the spring perch will be the sam and as such the springs should work right?

hi tuners i'm new to this

i have a 2004 323 protege and i get a constant knocking noise from the front of the car when it goes over bumps on the road. i took the car to mileage mack and the said the suspension and linkages(ends and bearings too) were fine. even the alignment was good. I don't see how these pins could make so much noise and also how come i hear the knocking even when i dont touch the brake pedal? plz help as this sound is driving me crazy and i can't help but think there's more to it! :(

cradles bad. you will have to change the entire cradle or get it done over in teflon

so what exactly is causing the noise and what do I have to do over in teflon?

changed the big and small bushings on both the lower cradle arms recently at 35,000km. Car is now doing 50,000km.

the local bushings go bad very very fast. they are not japanese. hear what to do. let somebody watch the wheel from outside and you drive a little forward. let them look if the entire wheel structure is moving from front to back. if it is your cradles bad. it could also be the entire cradle bent from going over a trini pothole.

just noticed my leftside front tire 'cutting' on the extreme outside edge. Tire pressure is checked every week and alignment is good. Guess this could mean the left cradle is moving from front to back when the car is in motion.

How do i check if the cradles are bent?

got a 323 protege too

mazda crew my car will be sold soon so i thinking about a lil new years present for a fellow tunes i might take off the brakes and sell it as a set front 10.2" rotors rear spindle rotors calipers cables an stuff what will be de best price to call don't really want to sell de car to no ricer so i rather sell de brakes to a tuner an make back de money i go lose in de sale
