oh yeah, and can i install my springs myself or is a spring clamp absolutely necessary? will the spring shoot out and kill something if i dont use a spring clamp?

you can do it yourself.
however you will not be able to compress the spring enough to mount the shock head unto the strut if you don't use the clamp.

two are straight and two are conical, i not sure which is front and which is back, it have the part numbers on them from mazda,, but i dont have the parts manual from mazdaspeed
