I also notices some sluggish movement and when the gear is changing from 2 to 3 there is a slight buck at times. I am considering doing a compression test to check if the ring seals need replacing. I am also worried if there are bad pistons.
Can anyone recommend a good mechanic who does these tests and advise on the possible issues from the symptoms mentioned.

I bought a m3 about a month ago, I am having a rough idle (vibration) dnd said the service my throttle body however I don't really think they did. Can that be the problem? Also what coolant is used for m3?
Is the rough idle only at startup or when the car is cold? Or is it always there, even after the car has warmed up and been driven for while?Details wrote:NATASHAMAKHAN wrote:Hi guys,

Try using premium and see if that would help with the idle
OEM coolant is FL22. Others in this thread have used the Prestone 50/50 without issue (myself included for several years and ~150,000km now). The main difference between the FL22 and Prestone is the duration between changes - FL22 is 100,000km and Prestone is 50 or 60,000km (can't recall offhand).NATASHAMAKHAN wrote:Also what coolant is used for m3?
