Saw this in the guardian about the new fines for traffic offences and wondered about one part in particular...

• excess smoke/sparks — $1,000;

Will spitting fire in my RX cause me a fine here?

Among the offences with significantly increased fines are:
• Dangerous driving — $3,000;
• breach of the Priority Bus Route — $2,000;
• tinted windscreen/windows, obscuring view — $2,000;
• failing to comply with a traffic order — $1,000;
• excess speed/racing/speed trials without permission — $1,000;
• playing musical/noisy instruments in vehicles — $1,000;
• excess smoke/sparks — $1,000;
• driving on footpath or pavement — $1,000;
• no MGW/Tare painted on — $1,000;
• Failing to keep left/improper overtaking (left) — $1,000;
• using vehicle contrary to registration — $1,000;
• failure to wear seatbelt driver/passenger 17 years — $1,000;
• plying maxi taxi outside route — $1,000; and,
• vehicles in maxi colours — $ 1,000.

No....just don't up shift/downshift/accelerate near a police car :lol:

They can however, charge you for the noise. Thank goodness I run a sleeper exhaust (read: flat black exhaust with a small tip).....FART CANNON FTL :lol:

aye maztune you have that instrument that does measure the current flow or something in the coil pack?...something they does clamp on the wires and read off some figure that tells you if one coil outputting more current than the other...so indicating which coil going bad.......
i feel i need some coils...you still have on the zl-ve engine that on the ground?

you need a multimeter with long probes, not the handle part of the probe, the metal tip...you need to measure and compare to the stock figures the electrical resistance...
