the mazdaspeed protege aint worth all that hassle
if you drop the engine and suspension in yours its the same thing the interior is slightly different but not that much better
better off getting a mazdaspeed3
yeah, the speed3 is faster, and i would get it out of japan, but the thing is the mazdaspeed protege is one of my favourite cars ever, love that car, but the conversion is difficult?
that might be tedious if not impossible things to note they carry cruise control brakes clutch accelerator on de left not to mention complete dash board an harness
the conversion should not be too hard you just need to engine
seems you already have the suspension

i wouldnt even waste my time doing that conversion and i can get the complete engine and box and wiring for about 3g's us last time i checked about 2 years ago
the zm LOVES boost
and you can get it to run some pretty impressive times
even spoke to a padna with a speed protege and he was telling me boost the zm rather than go for the conversion makes sense too for 3gs i can get much more than the ~170 that comes out stock of the fsde turbo engine

MAZTUNE, the BPT, is manual? i might get a 2.0 mazda 6 engine, will that bolt on direct to the 323 or what? anybody know if a 2.0 mzr will bolt on or will i have to do mods?
