Legacy Stalling during deceleration

Tuners, I need help.
My Legacy GT (Manual Conversion) stalls after hard acceleration when i take my foot off the gas pedal (deceleration) and let the engine fall to idle.
This happens if i am coming up to traffic or a speed bump etc. where i have to apply brake.
In some cases the engine RPM falls almost to zero and then recovers but on others it just falls to zero and stalls...
Any ideas???
Some info on the car:
Engine rebuilt, still in break in period (Running 9 lbs of boost to break-in the engine), working excellent otherwise, no check lights, new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, getting excellent mileage, unequal headers, upgraded to IHI VF 28 turbo, bigger intercooler, stock injectors for the moment.
I already checked for vacuum leaks, boost leaks etc...none found.
Let me hear your 2 cents...

Ok your MAF or its connection is most likely the problem. Btw what is excellent mileage?

Had the same issue with my scooby some time ago with no check engine light. Turned the MAF sensor was bad. You can try cleaning it first before looking at replacing it.

^^ Don't rule out connector. As soon as u clean it and re install the car may work good for a lil while then the problem will come back. The constant on and off of the connector can widen the female hole reducing contact. When the issue occurs try moving the connector up and down while still connected to the maf and see if u notice any relationship between the movement and idle. Do this before buying a maf...$1100 for a new one btw.

Could also be a very slight leak on the BOV if you have one installed.

If its a conversion, chances are the neutral position switch or wiring came loose, esp as you did a rebuild some wires could shift. That would cause what you described.
