legacy driver door refuse to unlock

recently my driver side door refusing to open from time to time...the remote nor the use of the key wouldnt unlock it....even from inside its not unlocking...I change the entire lock system and in matter of weeks the problem reoccurred anyone else having this issue

Got an issue with front passenger side actuator. Changed it and problem fixed.

i change the entire lock it woked gd n problem keeps cmg n going it very annoying

the main control switch u mean....even with the key when it sticking the key doesnt even open it...also the unlocking knob inside stick when the problem occurs i beyond lost on what causes it...cause one minute it sticking n after a few hours it works normal

Hmmm once the upholstery off am sure u can figure it out. The locking mechanism doesn't look that complicated. I believe that the system uses cable and not rods so if the the wire inside the cable is broken u may get that hit or miss effect....check ur cables.

Ohhh if the actuator sticking/remaining energized through faulty switch or otherwise u may get that effect.... Try disconnecting the power to the actuator and see how the lock works...

ok I figured out what the problem with the sticking of the was...the actuator n lock was good was the outter door handle spring was sticking and causing the lock to jam...so I sprayed it up n all is well wit it for now
