Given the mileage, I think you would be fine with any good quality 20/50 synthetic Oil.

I have been using AMSOIL for some time and it has been good thus far.

Oil discussion is a tricky topic and consensus is rarely achieved. Survey 10 people and you will probably get 10 very different choices. Brand loyalty, fanboyism, sponsorship, personal experience, etc. all skew people's recommendation.

Very true Lance...

I was using an expensive oil at longer recommended interval and still mash up my engine, Since I change head and block I started using a cheaper oil and changing at 3000km + or - 100km

20/50 synthetic and you good to go

agreed oil is debatable....everyone has their preference....

take a look at this video and why i recommend liquimoly based on your mileage as well...you can also go on their website and it would tell you what oil is recommended for your engine based on mileage etc

http://www.liqui-moly.de/liquimoly/web. ... guide.html

based on cost, their "gallon" is made up of 5ltr of oil whereas all other brands consist of 4ltr so you get the best bang for buck....
