HELP GEARBOX REBUILD (Got Through)

I have been looking for someone to rebuild my gearbox for months and cannot seem to locate anyone. The few persons i did contact, dont have the free time to do it. Before I go out and look for a replacement Im making a final attempt to find someone.

5fwd gc8 sti box. 4.44 ratio.

Someone drove the car and it came back on a flatbed. Front shafts are spinning but the rear output shaft that goes to the driveshaft is locking up. I have been told the centre diff is probably blown. It is also stuck in 4th gear. Gearbox is out of the car.

Can anyone recommend a dependable shop or mechanic where i can drop off the box, have it repaired and then pick it up? Need this done ASAP.

Also if anyone knows where i can get a 4.44 gearbox for a REASONABLE cost, please inform me.

post in the rally forum - there might be ppl there who can rebuild a gbox.

I remember a forum member De Bench (rally) being able to do this but don't think he is in Trinidad anymore.

Tola recently rebuilt my 6spd gearbox changing the 3rd,4th,5th,6th synchro's, diff bearings.

i actually got a replacement gearbox very cheap. I did however scrap the damaged box and im going to do the rebuild myself.
