Gonna ask a few "Strange" questions.. Tried looking for it online and didnt really get any good results..

Only recently noticed it; Lets say im driving, mash the clutch RPM does down, and I come to a stop, lets say the RPM is on 1000...if i put the car in neutral the RPM's drop sometimes, but if I keep my foot on the clutch and put it back in a gear (and leave my foot down on the clutch) the RPM does back up a bit, and when I put it in Neutral again, the RPM decreases... I could not think of anyway, how the shifter is connected to or communicates with anything that controls RPM... Any info? or just strange...

So.... once again, I know the "general" signs of a bad TPS... Do comment...

Sometimes car idles extremely high, like 1500RPM etc..may switch off and start back a few times and it may idle normal, sometimes you just leave it off for a few mins, start back and idles good.. a FEW times I got a check light, when car was idling odd, i just tapped the X ..like literally barely tapped it, and the check light comes off and car idles normal (happened about 3times ever)

Any suggestions??

Will update with more odd issues later on if any comes up.

Reason i;m asking and not just changing like a madman is because I rather ask first before I Go, change, buy and service a heap of things, spend money and none of the above was the issue.

Gonna check CEL tomorrow or so..

I feel its a ground problem or something related to that...

Checked TPS today, readings were normal (.53 closed) (4.3-4.5) fully open

Thing is, prior to checking, the car was giving the issue, switched off, and started back before checking, and car worked regular after switching off and starting back, so i guess i'd check the TPS signal's next time when its giving the issue.

Going to deal with it from this week here.

Checked my TPS and got a regular .5v and 4.8v reading..so it doesnt appear to be the TPS>..even checked it when the car was idling high..so that kinda rules out the throttle being slightly open at times..still gonna clean out the throttle body etc

Doing some reading into the TGV of this engine... trying to figure out if that could cause this issue

is it a mass air flow or a map sensor you got ?

MAF...

when mines was doing that i just cleaned the air flow sensor and it went back to normal

well idk, it just stopped and never happened again, i guess whatever the problem was i corrected it, wasnt driving the car much, did a few things on it..and since then it just never happened, so i guess that was corrected..
