Who would you recommend for 'boring' of Subaru Blocks?

I was having a discussion with an engine builder recently, he was expressing his thoughts on the quality of the shops who 'bore' the Subaru blocks. He said he could not recommend any shop right now, he is very unhappy about the quality of work. Any recommendations?

I can certainly attest to that, during my legacy engine build the machine shop damaged my original block. Although he footed the bill for a new block I still had the or have the hassle of going to license office to do a engine number change.

Professor, were you able to find someone to do the job?

I have a spare engine in trying to rebuild but my builder has also expressed similar sentiments.
