I using 245 40 18 on my car both on Spec B and aftermarket rims
The Sumitomo Tires were real good better than the DZ (more quiet and grip) I currently running Continental Conti Pro bess tyre yet.

ecsta's are prob the quietest best riding tyre i ever used. best on wet when brand new. really really good at displacing water.
life is very short. 3 months

Care to explain WHICH ecsta?
I used the KH11 and 711 Ecstas, and those tyres were hard compounds......long life.
I'm assuming you used something like an Ecsta MX perhaps? Those are more extreme tyres...with lower treadwear.
