Kinked Exhaust

Postby ph8alerror » June 6th, 2010, 10:15 pm

Got in a rear fender-bender and dented the rear bumper of my TS. After inspection realized that the piece of the exhaust pipe (curve just under the backseat) got kinked and noticed a bit of power loss driving. I wanna know:
1)Whats the average price of a replacement downpipe cuz the whole thing looks kinda rusty anyway?
2)Would a WRX down pipe fit up well?
3)If yes, whats the average price of that?

Thanks

You feel the power loss? That's a huge kink, or more like a very high angle bend.
Anyway, research if it's even worth it to replace with expensive aftermarket parts. Remember you're NA and not large displacement. People often overestimate the exhaust flow they really need.Unless of course you have one of those modded/turboed TSes.
