what mods do i have to do in terms of the mechanical and electrical or will everything work bolt for bolt and jack for jack? EJ20

An STi engine swap might be a bit easier in a WRX than a TS.

Some extra stuff might need to be done on the TS...e.g....if it has no scoop on the bonnet for the intercooler.

Of course, you have to figure out which car you're working on......most of the average joes can't tell a WRX from a TS. :lol:

I am guessing the following:
Different are: turbo, injectors, heads and ecu
Similar are: Harness, block, Air intake, engine size (excluding U.S. 2.5)



Bolt for bolt-I don't see why not
Jack for Jack- I don't see why not

am I right?

Why don't u just mod the wrx engine? A vf39 turbo, front mount intercooler, 750cc injecters, high volume fuel pump vcs semi decked head along with some other goodies will have u moving, once tuned properly will make anywhere from 325-380.. :twisted:

it you are doing a complete swap u will need a complete harness for teh engine also you will need headers everything

if it is the block only then swap out and you safe
