Will pass you and make your head spin. Any old school fans out there still?

9sec from a Carb L28? Is it possible to get more out of it? Remember its a carb engine and non crossflow.

car a base-run of 219.7 kilowatts = 294.622553 hp and a final tune on 8psi using E85 making 269.7 kilowatts = 361.673658 hp

This is very impressive for an engine that wasn't meant for a turbo

At 8psi I'm really impressed.

I remember from one of the older episodes that it was fitted with a garrett bases turbo? Was it a gtx30 or 35?

I'm surprised that they went with such a large turbo for a target boost of only 8psi and a rev limit of 6.xxK

But then again, it is a huge engine so lag shouldn't be an issue.

Closest thing is c16.

Price however ugh.
Premium and meth might be a replacement but I can't say

I've never used C16 but I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that premium/meth won't give you gains to that magnitude.

It's a very economical and safe way to keep those intake charges cool though, and eventually run a some more boost and timing. I just don't think it's on C16 level.

I get your point though.

You can run unleaded if you removed the cat converters. Prepare for some O2 Sensor fouling as well, that lead comes off in sheets - you'll swear is epic rust

I never did the Kw to whp conversion from the earlier episodes.

I had no idea it was putting down that kind of ponies.

Really impressive.

Dream car right there!!!!

And I was so sad, disappointed and furious when that Silvia lost the drag race against the original gramps!

I swear Moog launched and let off the gas to let Marty pass! I was sure the Silvia would have been making more HP.

When he lost that race I lost faith in Nissan there for a moment , but that was soon regained when the gtr destroyed Marty and his gearbox!
