Centric brake pads :)

Postby marcus8860 » June 11th, 2014, 1:38 pm

Hello all, I would like to know if anyone has ever used the centric brand of brake pads on their turbo legacy and your opinions of it, thanks.

I've seen this brand on amazon but I looked past it. For the price tho you can't go wrong...personally I'd go with either the EBC or Stoptech pads...both are pretty reasonable and offer more than adequate stopping performance and both brands are known and trusted around the world.

I used centric rotors one of my Impreza's and no problems. Centric makes posi quiet so you can't go wrong.

Nice, I'd give it a try. Even though the original works fine it's expensive and if the centric can work just as good with little or no noise, it will be an economical buy :)
Ey thanks subie !

StopTech is made by Centric too and it's branded in the ultra performance division

Yeah Subie_2nr is right. Centric makes stoptech and the budget brand posiquiet.

I've been using posiquiet for more than 1.5 years now. For my driving style it's perfect. I have no complaints.

It holds out well under pressure, low brake dust and long life.

IMO best pads money can buy! Peak performance has them..$770 for the front..can't remember the price of the rear. Stopping power is amazing..low brake dust, very low brake fade and they aren't harsh on rotors..(still on oem rotors) Do some research and you'll see the reviews...they sell for about $110 USD on amazon

They're not that loud TBH but my definition of loud and your definition of loud May very well be slightly different. All in all excellent pads! In terms of life they won't last as long as the posi's but they more than hold their own! :)
