Come to think of it, none of us would have given this JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) car much credence without its Nürburgring credentials, right? It's got to the stage today where any performance car must put in some time at the 'Ring if it's to be taken seriously by rev-heads around the world. Proof of that is that there are now three Japanese supercars — Honda's V10-powered NSX, the Lexus LF-A and the Nissan GT-R — all testing in Germany and vying for lap time honors.
ALL M/T Legacy models come with 280bhp. This includes the Manual GT, Manual Spec-B and STi.
Spec-B Legacies do NOT come 6 forward. The ONLY Legacy that comes with a 6 forward gearbox is the STi legacy.
The difference with the STi legacy from the GT and Spec-B has NOTHING to do with engine. The difference is STi interior trim, STi Legacy Pinks (different from WRX STi pinks), STi quad exhaust barrels, Brembos all around, 18" STi BBS or Enkei wheels depending upon trim option, different engine covers.
All Turbo legacies have the same engine output. With manual ones at 280bhp and A/T at 260bhp. The STi Legacy does not come with A/T.....ONLY 6fwd
15 devils, did you really test drive an STi legacy? If so, where, I would love to see it, never seen one up close and personal. If it didnt have Brembos, Quad Exhaust, STi tach up to 260 and STi trim, then chances are it was not 6 fwd, unless someone modded a GT or Spec-B's 5fwd gearbox.
