Weird Evo x problem

Postby src1983 » March 23rd, 2016, 10:32 am

Will try my best to explain it

You're driving normally (no excessive speeding) so you brake to make a corner

When you press the gas again to go the car dies down (rev show its at 1) but the car feels like it off after a second or two it goes normal again

What could be the cause?

Transmission slipping..probably wouldn't hurt to check battery terminals tho.

It feels like loss of power like the engine dies.

Log the vehicle...you will get a wealth of info that will help diagnose the issue...

More than likely is a fuel pump issue... Had this issue alr with a sti, when i cornering it tends to die out a little and when straightening up it gets bk to normal.... If i take the corner easy though its normal as if nothing is wrong
