My car came with a mivec 6A12 in the VR-M galant chassis....I added a fpr, mivec controller and K&N filter. The car came from factory with a stepped 2.5 exhaust so I didn't do much more than that. Sounded absolutely sweet up at 8000rpm...There's not a whole lot more you can really do to the 6A12 without spending alot of money.
I'd suggest you work on the suspension. The FTO handles good but you can always improve what it came with. here's a wealth of knowledge online if you search. You can start here:
