calling all fwd turbo men.
i have a few questions, and i know most of you guys have turbo setups.

so right now i have a 4g15dohc and transmission in a ck lancer.
i know the 4g92 and the 4g15 have a same gearbox. just the flywheel is different.

i know the 4g92 has another engine called the 4g92 mivec that comes with the ck chassis.
does this gearbox carry the same code as the non mivec models?

the 4g92 gearbox( non mivec or is it the mivec? can work with a 4g93t GSR that comes with the ck gsr.

also does the gsr turbo line up with the 4g92 mivec block? or the non mivec block?
i know some people use this turbo to turbo the 4g92. The evo 4g63t turbo can work for a upgrade as i heard?

so its basically some questions i have and i hope i can get them answered.
i want to go turbo soon, so my plan was to go manual, then change to a gsr engine using the same gearbox but changing the engine.

That's the thing. I'm not sure. I know someone posted it on a forum. I think it's from a 4g93 Galant

yeah you can go manual with either a F5M41 or F5M42 from a CK chassis...that gearbox will fit on a 4G93T out of a GSR bolt for bolt...you will just have to locate a 7 hole flywheel when going 4G93T

Gsr rods are weak beyond 14psi so if you going 93t you'll have to go forged if planning to push the 93t. Yes the stock turbo manifold from either the gsr or gdi lines up bolt for bolt on a 4G92 SOHC or Mivec. But turboing either of those need a complete rebuild with forged pistons if planning on running anything more than stock boost. The 93t Gsr pistons fit the 92 block perfect but you have to reuse 92 rods for durability.
