WTK:CAN CK4/4G92 TRANNY WORK ON 4G18 ENGINE

Ok i've heard some ppl say its been done,and i personally know someone with a normal non cvt tranny on his 4g18 which came from DM like dat.
But what i wanna know is is it a direct bolt up,same axles,will it work with same ecu,basically i wanna know what mods need to be done?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have gone tru 2 cvt trannies and would jus like like to get the normal tranny....less costly also
