What year is your 63t?

All 63t's from the evo 4 model upwards uses the same IACV posted above. One part number superceeds all of the others now. (1450A069)

Earlier models like CB version MIVEC/ GSR/ EVO 1-3 63T / RVR/ STEALTH/ 3000GT uses the same early type IACV. (MD628051)

Mishi i took it out and attacked it with some contact cleaner then reset it, it seems to work now, will keep and eye on it, if it fails again ill check u 2 buy yours if u still have it

What was hapening? was it idling rough? or just not idling when cold?

funny thing is my own looks exactly like the the second set of pics he has of the original.

That's the early types from the evo 1-3/ cb gsr/ stealth etc

mines was just very low idle, no idle up when ac turned on and no idle up when locking full left or right. Took it out and cleaned it, it seems to be working fine now.

No the new ones are shorter and I believe different connection point alltogether... Yeah they gonna cost a bit: average between $300-400 and that's just the US dealer price... then you have to factor in customs etc so $2600.00 really isn't that bad. Other than that yours is the early type I don't think Jody dealt with the early evos and in any case the age of those units now it's better to get a newer one... as said before Amazon or ebay might be your best bet.

well its a c62 with a gen 1 mivec heart .

your only option is to buy em new. they are notorious for failing especially in the earlier models...

what you mean? if you buy the one you need new you'll have no problem. U can't use the one from the evo 4-9.

Checking for MIVEC 1st gen your part number would be MD628052

oh ok i hear yuh now thanks. i thought you meant that if i bought a new one i would have to change around the connection points.

trinibajan34 buying your part may be easier if you find a vehicle used in the U.S. that has the same engine number, then find the part for that vehicle on Amazon or Ebay or Parts train.com .just my 2 cents.
