rear wheel hub

Postby spirited721 » March 28th, 2011, 9:09 pm

Can someone tell me if the rear wheel bearing for the mazda 323f can work on a ck2 lancer? the lancer # is
Rear: Koyo DACF 1050 B. 28mm bore, ABS ring (according to mitsu parts post)

and the mazda is
DACF1041H (this was on the label)

The guy in Central Motor Supplies said the assembly would work but i would like a second opinion before i put it on just in case.

Thanks

Rather odd. Why do you want to try the Mazda rear wheel bearing when there are new CK lancer rear wheel bearings readily avaliable for $300-400?

Is it ABS? If so, then I see your problem sourcing this bearing.

Hmm.. i forgot that i posted this. in case anyone wondering, the 323f hub was too small and 'rudman' it is ABS.

If anyone got lucky with sourcing the ABS hubs feel free to fill me in.

I did not get lucky sourcing this bearing locally. What I ending up doing was taking a local bearing (same bearing no and bore of course), and skimmed the hub flange to the back side to accomodate the toothed ABS ring. Then drill and counter sink two holes on the flange to accomodate the bolts that secures the toothed ring to the flange.

If you should ever get the part number for this hub please post it.
