It can be repaired... only thing is i am not sure which seal would work... some say that the civic rear caliper seals are similar....
you will have to find a way to remove the piston from the caliper itself... probably use a compressed air and a block of wood to keep it from flying out like a missile...
Inspect the piston it should be shiny... if it has imperfections it will cause it to stick. If it has pitting (little craters) don't waste your time to clean it... just replace.
To clean, get a nice high grit sandpaper... 1200 -1500 should be good... and use some water with it and wet sand the piston of any imperfections... once the entire thing is smooth to the touch you should be fine. Inspect the interior of the caliper after removing the rubber seal and check for any damages... clean as well but not too much and do not sand where the seal fits.
wash it out and let it dry... same for the piston. get a replacement seal boot for the caliper and also the seal at the caliper. Now get some brake caliper grease... NO OTHER WILL DO! usually it's an orange color. spread a light film all over the outside of the piston but not too much. Put the boot on the piston and slide it back into the caliper housing... while making sure to get the boot back in properly. Once that is done, bolt the caliper back up. Bleed and give it a try.
Failing that, i'd check the proportioning valve...
