Alternator

Where can i get a good alternator F/U for the libero at a good price? Also is it better to buy one F/U or brand new?? IF ppl saying brand new where can i get one for my application?

the reason y i asking cause my electrician said to change it due to the car putting out a very heavy load and the battery is undercharging(i think)! He did a reading and got 13.1v and said it is bad and the alternator will have a life of about 1 and half months again b4 it conks out. He got this reading with everything on(a/c, lights,radio) But i myself knows something is wrong as all my lights dim badly wen d a/c is on, cd player kinda skips wen lights and a/c on and car power is considerably lessened wen load is put on (if i cruising at 100km and i put on ac car drops to 80 without moving my foot on the pedal) So help plz?

centralized(m), a new alternator is about 3000-3500
a foreign used one is <800
do the maths.....
go to the bamboo and check arond and try to get one
once u get it sort out update the post and let us know
