Well that sounds like a pain.

What's needed to do over just the front alone then?

It possible to replace the OEM fog light switch in a ck lancer (rectangular switch on dashboard) with a regular flip switch?

Ok guys, WTK, what are the original headlights for the 2001 sharkmouth.

There are currently H7's installed, which don't seem to quite fit properly and searching around reveals 9003 H4's... There is also a clear conflict between USDM and JDM parts as well.

Any advice from more experienced owners will be appreciated.

Thanks.

The grounds are using the actual lights and the 4 is the switched power. That's what I understood. Double check it..

Is the rubber cover for behind the ck4 headlight sold as single items in any stores?

If it's carburetted you will need a carb seal replacement kit and a reputable mechanic to do the job/ tune the carb.

If EFI then you may need the car to be scanned for any error codes or failed sensors...

Hey I need some assistance asap please while driving tonight my clutch pedal just sank to the floor the physical pedal itself is moving down and up but it's not releasing the gear(if that makes sense) basically I can change through all the gears without mashing the pedal. I checked the fluid it was a bit low and topped it up still no release. Anyways anyone knows what could be the issue or knows a mechanic who can come to my location because I can't drive my car out the compound. The vehicle is a cs5w lancer.

Fellas what exactly should I do to fix my CK lancer?

The situation is this : Changed the transmission in my 4G15 Dohc engine today and the neutral light is blinking while in drive, next the car has a harsh jerk forward when placing gear into Drive from park, also the car is idling very low now :s, I think the car is in limp mode? Also the car is cutting off now and the lights go dim when going over a hump, Would sort it out tomm by a mechanic. Also still have 2 weeks warranty on the transmission.

Merc. You have some serious electronic problems. Lights dimming?

Limp mode keeps the car in gear 2 and limits the rpm.

Yeah bro thanks. I'll sort it out later today. Actually don't know where to start but I will check the mechanic. Yeah the rpm is rel low. I can't even drive the car to the electrician because it keep cutting off. So It looks like I have more than one problem.

Neutral light blinking is a transmission warning signal? The tranny is CVT?

Right in my CK2 lancer 4G15 DOHC....I'm getting smoke from the ac vents when the ac is off. Also it gives off a horrid smell when the ac is on. The Radiator has never been changed in this car. Another problem is I'm hearing a fizzing noise while driving :s. Any thoughts mitsu gurus? First time I get problems with this car after 14 years.

I get something like smoke when the ac cycles maybe once in a few weeks.
Happened to my ck lancer and a vigo. And a few cars I saw. Never understood what it was.
Check the filter. That can be the smell.
Fizzing noise? The ac system works properly otherwise btw?

Yeah it works well otherwise, I'm still getting the same problem with the Blinking Neutral light as well as the "2" Light is blinking on the dash . Not getting the time to go by a mechanic. I did do a scan and the results were First and Fourth gear not syncing. I read online that it could be solenoid or some sensor or something idk nah.

Didn't you have a vr4 engine in your lancer at one point?
Wires seem to be a small problem

Oil was changed 5 days ago. Also with this transmission there was a filter to the top; this was also changed. The other transmission I had didn't have this fliter. I didn't get the problem sorted out today. had to work so tomm. instead.

A transmission flush was done or just a drain and refill?

I'm asking because the blinking N light is a signal that the oil is very hot. That causes it to get thin and cause the blinking. To fix that, a flush of the transmission is needed.
