i think so, based on experience. my local cs, fan use to come off with the ignition. with the singapore cs, no matter what time of day, if the ignition is turned off, key removed, the fan still runs for at least 15 seconds after

^^singapore CS and local CS have the same exact fan motor control unit and fan motors....
your fan used to stay on for a little while because the fan motor control unit was faulty and needed replacing...my car is a local CS and it used to do that but it stopped acting like that when I installed a new unit...

^^ I used to get that(car holding back then releasing) at a point in time Icefox..uhm, i can't remember what I did exactly to fix the problem. One Mechanic told me that it was the solenoid in the tranny doing that and the tranny man told me no that is how 'these' cars work and there is no problem. At the time I had Music in the car which pulled alot of current. Not too long after alternator went through, and so did the battery. You can probably get it scanned to see if any error messages come up, none came up when I scanned mine. The next step you could take is to service your throttle body and check your battery as well. You may probably want to test your alternator as well while you're at it.

[quote="icefox] car feels lazy an like it wants to cut off on a few times.

This is usually an indication that the step up motor is faulty. Icefox, go get the car scanned and have the mechanic service your throttle body as well, i.e remove the 4 12" bolts and free TB from the intake manifold to give it a good clean, remove Step-up motor and clean tip with wd40, the housing where the plunger for the step up motor fits into should also be cleaned with WD40.

^^^yes WD40 is used to displace moisture and lubricate but it should not be used to clean electrical components, it would attract dust...best thing to use is contact cleaner

Cleaning the idle step up is a clean with contact spray and lube with wd40.
I think thats what Biggs meant to say.

^^^ My bad guys!!! I've been doing sheit...I normally spray it with WD40 and wipeoff excess. I also spray the black plastic butterfly thingy in the housing(IACV part where Step UP Plunger goes) as well and wipe off. Usually the cloth is black and that gave me the assumption that I was doing it correctly. I will purchase a contact cleaner and use it from now on. Any ideas on a good brand to purchase.

Hey Idle I forgot to show you the disassembled Step Up motor last Friday. Still haven't gotten the time to post up the pics...

20% IMO, it a nice cozy tint that will keep out the sun and make inside the car cooler with AC on. It's illegal by inconsistent standards. I say inconsistent because it comes down to what the licensing officer/police officer/traffic warden deems is too dark on spot. There is no tool/device that detects grade of tint.
Personally, I got my car with a 20% that was some years old and I put a fresh 20% on top of that.

I pass true a road black saturday with no seen, an if anythin I does jus drop the glass, jus to be on the safe side, but 20% is the sheit. U does move unknow, especially for a man like me who always with some body woman,

Based on your last post, your taste seems to be similar to mine in that you like chrome on your car and 'hard pong'. We'll be good friends, . Been there, done that. Gave the chromes a rest. Actually liking the OEM ride and look. One thing though, too much chrome is overkill so IMO, I would leave out the chrome door posts. Door handles, side/wing mirrors and wiper arms are it.

ok well il leave out the post an crome out the rest of it, but where do u get the crome arms for the wipers, i checked the crome ppl in trincity, but they told me it will take 10 days to do, in this modern day an age, a whole 10 days, i want them now for now. an yea if we taste the same, we wud be good friends, we shud link wen i ready to buy my stuff, so u cud give me some pointers since u have been dere

There is a tyre shop in Petit Valley, located just after the bend with the panyard. The owner goes by the name 'Johnny'. He chromes the wiper arms. You get it right away. Yes, right away. How come right away? The people that went to get their wiper arms chromed, he takes it and chromes them so when you go for one, you get it right away if he has in stock.

Other than that, it takes 2-3 days.

I joining this clip war because I need clips for my left rear tail light.
Wouldn't Bella have these clips?

Nah loco, both mirrors are magnified by the same degree.
I have a LHD mirror on my drivers side coz I wanted back the magnification.
It was the same as the OE one I shattered.
Only Only difference is I got the Objects will appear further than they really are stamp.
But I get used to it.

Bigg3ne if you dont mind, hurry up and post the DIY for cleaning the step up motor nah. i know my throttle body needs cleaning so i mite as well do the step up motor as well. Well that is you guys provide me with the steps; caz i aint for troubling trouble

next thing turbo_beast369 canyou shed a little light on this topic

you guys talking about the CS3 and not the CS2 right? caz i kow my fan control motor takes about 5-10 secs to switch off the fans when the car is switched off, always wanted to change it but i was under the empression that the CS2 fan control motor wiring is different and no one seems to have it foreign used.

^^yeh I talking about the CS3 (local or singapore) with the double fans
the CS2 comes with a single fan but it has varying speeds

once your fan motor stays on for a couple seconds after you turn off the ignition then the fan motor control unit needs replacing...in a vehicle with a proper working fan motor control unit the fans hardly ever come on unless u have on the a/c or you stuck in bumper to bumper traffic in the hot sun...
