I'm talking about the strips that go to the top of the doors of the car where the door glass meets the door. The yellow CS highwer up on this page that xtech posted has them on it.

I think the view in the mirror he installed was not as wide as OEM.

better if you replace the whole mirror housing etc.

idle I like that DIY post, if it didnt have the "objects are closer...." it would of been perfect.

How much you pay for your mirror? Landed cost.

Considered bringing in as a sideline but not much ppl are adamant on having a convex mirror as i am.

Mety, I hear you loud and clear. I know someone who could wire that car up for you in no time at all. The only thing is that I believe that you will have to tke the car to him. He is in Curepe and goes by the name Stonewall. If you want I can call him to find out if he has the time to do it because he usually has alot of work, but unlike many he doesn't waste your time.

PCV is generally replaced when it is leaking in the closed position and would make a difference all round if bad
It should also be cleaned periodically and checked at that point to see if in the closed position it is still allowing air to pass.

Thank you for the feedback Dave. Well my car is doing 200k+ and since I bought it about 3 years ago I have never cleaned nor replaced the pcv valve. I will replace this weekend as I doubt that it has ever been replaced or cleaned.

You didn't understand or maybe I didn't explain fully.
There is no reason to replace it once not leaking.
All you would need to do would be to clean it and put it back. A less than 5min process.
