well fellas. did a compression test, all cylinders are good except number 3 is giving me 60psi

Could be head as well... put 1 teaspoon of oil down the spark plug hole and leave for 1 minute then redo compression test, if pressure increases then its deffo your rings gone... Looks like a rebuild dude... join me on the darkside!!!

i wanted to rebuild a while now tho. so i think ill be buying a cheap car within the next month and rest down the evo until end of year or so i should be finished. lookin at 700HP.


any drivetrain help will be appreciated. i got the engine covered lol.

guys went by D&D yesterday saw a extremely good condition 4g63t CB version evo 3 engine complete with Gbox and harness for 12k ........the guy didnt want to part at all soo hurry while its still there the engine looks unmolested even the internals when i opened the oil cap , the metal braces on the TB still have that chrome/brass look...

Nik some info was revealed to me last dyno day by some guys who knew what happened to the gsr before or during your tenure with it as i was asking about the funny noise in the front, btw presently on the car as was so before, gbox evo 1 rs(not evo3) rear diff still Gsr(not evo3) , as a result of the ratio incompatablity hence the exisiting problem with that funny noise when cornering. just thought i'd share that .

lol, nah, not selling. well i think the clutch is gone but im saying as im home these days and the engine already had that cylinder 3 prob. i would take down the engine one time to see whats up, change clutch and start to neaten up stuff on it nah.


but cash right now kinda hard so its down until further notice :(

lolol then u gonna hate me, the car get hit in the rear fender tonight fellas. i just cant see the end to my problems these days nah. nothing that bad in the back tho, no lights damaged etc but damnnn boy.
