what do you guys think about this for my next purchase:
http://www.trinicarsforsale.com/databas ... 1-6254#top
the condition and price kinda irresistable

how come you ups & sold Elle?!? i thought you loved her, man!!! :(
also, the Hilux looks good indeed...

I'll share it on the condition that you share when people bodda ur arse wit every parts question dat they have!

On another note I have a driver side mirror. Another car passed and ripped it off thankfully it didnt fall.

Everything is intact except the black arm that connects to the door. Giving it away cheap.

Now i need a sliver 3 pin driver mirror :?

^^^jes so, dude?! ummm.... well.... i have the number plate holder for my model CS3A, if that'll help...

went yesterday to get the CVT fluid at Autorama's, was very impressed by the guy there. he really knew his sh!t, even whipped out a lil gauge thingy to test the coolant and tell me it's good so i don't need to buy any, and went into great detail with his explanations on spark plugs and why i should buy the platinum ones (which i did)

hard luck dey, turbo :?

venum, iz an ASX yuh talkin bout dey?!

s o . . .

just did my 80,000km service at DM, here's the list:
1. Engine Oil Change - Royal Purple 15w40 (4 quarts)
- Also switched out the OEM drain plug with a Greddy one (Neodymium, magnetic, yada yada)
- Checked the used oil, still had life in it after 10,000km on an OEM filter
2. Transmission Oil Change - Mitsubishi ATF SPIII (5 quarts)
- Checked the used oil, still relatively clear and had body after 40,000km of daily (spirited) driving
3. Power Steering Flush - Royal Purple Max ATF (1 quart)
4. Spark Plug Change - NGK Platinum Plugs (heat rage 5)
5. General Checkup and Tighten

still need to rotate and balance tyres, align and camber... place is too busy today *steups*

so far things are bess, gave it a lil run up the highway, will post any new observations after a couple of days...

turbo, the RP oil filter s'posed to be super efficient, so i don't expect too much crap on the magnet. really bought it because it's a harder meal than the OEM and OEM replacement plugs, and my original started "pulling" after 2.5 years

Zero, i got it from Tuner Imports in the Auto Parts forum, pretty cheap

^^^u jes wuh me get thrown out d thread fi advertisin, eh?! $140, the Type 2 to fit the Mitsubishi...

so i followed the instructions from the link, and they were right: those facking screws screwed me over BIG time!!! mostly stripped, had to tap the screwdriver in which caused me to chip the inside of the driver's side fog :( it's ok on the exterior, 'cep for a tiny lil hole. hopefully it doesn't crack/break later on *fingers crossed*

the yellows looking pretty, have to check Zero to compare to his Nokyas... will post pics next week, hate using the home pc to do them sh!ts...

ALL THE BEST FOR 2011, guys and gals (automotive and human alike)!!!!
will be driving around 'cause i have no life, accepting invites atm :D

nah I want OEM mats...I want exact fit nah...did anyone CS come with OEM mats from DM? EVA the centre mat go protect d upholstery from both artificial and natural fluids lol

on another note can anyone suggest a good, relaible and reasonable mechanic in sando or environs?

My water pump bearing is bad and making noise like if it have a tassa group in d engine bay...yesterday I took d car by a fren of mine who services injectors and pumps and he used a stethoscope to determine where d noise was coming from and he said its the alternator...2day I took d car by d electrician and he said d noise definitely coming from d alternator so he took it out and changed the 2 bearings...while assembling it on d bench, out of curiousity I spun d water pump pulley to realize that it was wobbling and making a noise even at the low speed I was spinning it....so that pump has to change ASAP b4 the bearing shells out or locks up....what's odd is that it isnt leaking and that he didnt hear any noise on the stethoscope when he touched the water pump....apparently the reason why they both thought the alternator was making d noise was because the alternator adjust bracket it bolted unto the water pump so the noise and vibration transferred to the alternator...at least my alternator is serviced and I doh hadda worry bout it for a good while...
