^^^ I believe they're cut at the back (flat part) to allow it to fit over the bar... If anyone gets their hands on some poly urethane ones, lemme know please! Been looking for them for ages...

Thanks guys.. Was jus making sure since I always assumed you needed to slide these onto the bar when I guess it's jus to wrap it over and bolt down.

On another note..went by a place on south called Sasco and got my engine mounts rebuilt. The guy was cool and I'm impressed with the quality of work.

You have a few options when doing them; hard or soft rubber, with spaces or solid. The mounts can be busted coz they melt out the old rubber and bake in the new. It takes about a day to do. I went with hard rubber and no spaces. Guy warned me it will vibrate but my engine rocks too much to take any chances. He told me if the vibration is too much all I have to do is drill through a couple holes.

I assumed the untidily cut overlapping rubber is where he makes the spaces. If that's the case, I personally find that's too much gap for mounts. But even though it looks like inserts, it's all one piece of baked rubber.

On a note for sway bar bushings using urethane, unless the contact part with bar and bushing has veins in the bushings for grease to be held, after a while u might hear a creak over humps etc. The fix is wrap your bar with thread seal an then mount bushings over this part.

^^^ Excellent tip, Dave!

Do I bought 2 of the A/C filters from King Kool, and they seem to be good. Only difference I noticed from OEM was 1) filter was white on the intake side, whereas the OEM was completely gray, and 2) the 2 little pieces of foam were on the top instead of the bottom like the OEM.
Installed one yesterday, fit was good (screw holes were a little tight, but I got it to work), and flow rate/volume has been restored. Seems the carbon in the replacement isn't as efficient a OEM, but at a quarter of the cost it can be replaced 4 times as often

Also noticed my headlights were getting a little scaly :? So I took to it this morning armed with an orbital polisher and some SwirlX, results were satisfactory. May have to repeat later on, but it seems a viable alternative for headlights that's just beginning to get weather-damaged...

you should have gone with solid soft rubber, those solid hard rubber mounts might vibrate like crazy

but then again as he said you can always drill holes to get more flex

if you had a 25 mm front stabilizer bar from a Ralliart or Sports Edition CS then you would have been able to get the poly bushings easier

raybic has the 25 mm bar and he has all super pro poly bushings in the front

So O2 Sensor Changed EGR cleaned Oil, Plugs filters changed

Car still showing up the the O2 Sensor as a fault Hoping is not a big issue

However the car is working properly it has a slight rough idle as it had before other than that it is working.

Yea rosin as idle said how you so sure it isnt the other o2 sensor?
What code are you getting on the obd11.
When i had my cel i thought it was a o2 sensor had to change but it was a egt sensor that needed replacing.(take in mind i have cs2a)

The rear one showed up on the scan yesterday with the EGR sensor
They were cleared today we serviced the EGR and when we started the car the check light came back on we scanned again and the same rear o2 sensor came up as yesterday
But this is the other parts I do not understand yesterday when we reset and started the car to check the active data the sensor was not crossing 130mV it was fluctuating between that and 0 mV while the Front Sensor was fluctuating from 0mV to 780mV
when we change the sensor today Both sensors were Fluctuating from 0 mV to 780 mV

as one goes up the other goes down which tells me both sensors are working the way it should

Well by process of elimination the egt probe could be your fault guy,if its reading incorrectly it would trigger a code and seeing the rear o2 sensor is after this, it could be picking up incorrect readings from the egt and throwing a cel too.
OR it could be your cat is clogged and cazing the both sensors to read incorrectly.
Duh quote me on dat caz i cud be wrong.Best bet is to test egt for resistance first

Changed my front stabilizer bar rubbers today, realized my car has the thicker sta bar. Here's the OEM part number, FYI:
1371324696133.jpg

Can anyone confirm the thickness, I think it's 25mm? Got a pair of 16mm poly mounts to machine to fit, so if anyone knows a good machine shop in central I'd be much obliged...

OK so Spent the day today behind the car took a gamble and drove up to the bamboo with the car due to the fact the ECU in the car when I finally got it fixed was a 4G15 ECU as I was not getting the Singapore Model 4G18

Went to Willies once again they had an ECU in Stock and I asked them to install low and behold all rough idle stopped and check light came off

Also When I had the 4G15 ecu installed we had to by pass the fan controller as the fans were going crazy rewired we reconnected the controller now the car is Back at 100% factory stock

that is with the exception of the paint job and wheels

Came back down the road had the car scanned just in case and there was no error

And for information Willies had a Manual CS in the yard doing just over 100K he is scrapping and looking for 6K for the full conversion

My mirror got broken off on Saturday while heading to classes.
Already got paid for it so now on the hunt for a mirror (left side).
Any leads on where I can get one in bamboo? (2004 CS3 model)

Also how do I go about changing this mirror once I get it?

^^ Update when u get through nah. Last owner installed a bogus mirror & everything is like 3 times closer. He said he had to buy the entire set up just to get the actual mirror. I actually have to look back before I merge right on the highway at higher speeds.
