Zeroone i think brotherhood had this problem earlier this year, cant remember exactly what seal he changed but if my memory serves me correct its back crank seal and torque convertor seals. He may be able to assist

ZeroOne if it's not that seal then it's most probably 26136

is the transmission oil leaking from between the engine and tranny?

will do.

Looking to change all necessary seals while im at it

found the post viewtopic.php?f=33&t=98180&hilit=seal&start=10170#p6823596

Im reading that the leak was from a side panel and that the tranny does not have to come down to change the troque conv seal.

yeh once oil leaking out the converter housing then 26136 is the culprit..I suggest you change both axle seals one shot

Yep, that's correct. Transmission does not have to comer down. Jai's Transmission in Aranguez did the labour for me. Cost me $300 to fix. Dropped the car before I went to work around 9ish qand they called me around 3pm and said they were done.

The leak was on the back cover of the transmission. Those were their exact words, the guys that did the labour that is.

Also changed axle seal.

You have to unbolt the flexplate from the crankshaft to get to that seal

Then just pull out the bulb, it was enclosed in a holder so you have to pull out the bulb itself. I was surprised just to find 2 blubs behind there.

I have to check maturas tommorrow to see if they have the bulb. It was blown just as i suspected.

It have a woman working by renos? When i went to get my ip check he had a man there working with him.
