Hey guys, forgot to give y'all an update...

So i went by Deo's on Wednesday morning, they cleaned the radiator for $300, still had the AC problem. Took it to an AC tech to diagnose, he said the coil lost strength and wasn't pulling in the clutch in the compressor when the car got hot. He took out the spacer for the while as a temporary fix, but he said it'll cost $1200 to rewind the coil and regas the system when it stops again.

BTW i got the vortex generator i ordered on Amazon and it fits well enough, so thanks for the recommendations there!

So right now, in writing to retrofit the headlights, change the shocks and send EVA off to paint...

Coil rewinding has nothing to do with gassing

Hmm... Just quoting the tech, he said he'd have to regas after they reinstall the rewound coil  Thanks for the heads up!

you might need a new compressor too. that coil rewinding is a 50/50 chance that it will work.

icefox I get all my parts from amayama.com

I used to get mounts at PT Auto.
Around $300 for one.
Then id full them in at Sasko in south.
But they are a good option either way

To the guy with the resonator questions. I keep telling you to swap the cat with a resonator but you keep asking over. I am telling you yes it will work but I think you should go by a muffler shop and get an opinion.

Since you gutted the Cat you effectively took out all the material used to reduce emission hence causing a free flow hence more noise.

I had to replace my compressor about five months ago. A brand new replacement cost me $2750.00 with labour. That included, cleaning the system, regassing and serving of the condenser.

Trincool did the work for me. Top notch service. I searched 'air conditioning' in the Classifieds and Trincool came up. I am fully satisfied. One thing though, I find with the AC on while driving, the car 'sounds louder'. I am guessing that is because the compressor isn't original.

I had this problem before about two years ago. It was remedied, and now I see it was temporarily, with WD40 spray. Now it has persistently come back. My indicator/park & headlamp switch is F*^%ing up. I have tried the WD40 this time again, but to no avail. At times I would move the switch to either side to activate the indicator and it would not come on at all. Sometimes I would turn the switch once to activate the park light, and it would not come on at all.
I sometimes have to pong it or rock it. This is annoying and unsafe. This has potential for hazardous developments on the nation's roads.

What do I need? An indicator switch? The entire column behind the steering where the switch goes into?
Please advise and give your input.

Hey there.Do you guys know if its possible to mate a ck2 tiptronic transmission with a cs3 4g18 engine.I'm having issues with my Cs3 cvt transmission and i'm thinking about making a conversion to either gears or tiptronic.
So what i'm asking is would a F4a41 tiptronic transmission mate with a 4g18 engine???
Bolt for bolt????
Would y'all consider the non-cvt Tiptronic tranny F4a41 an upgrade from stock f1c1a cvt transmission???
