Everything in there is oem. It works pretty well, especially when overtaking power is needed. Sounds really good without the sound dampening on the intake. It walks all over its cvt counterparts. I guess with a little investment, it can satisfy but remember, its still an sohc economy engine.

The transmission is very similar to the one in my shark but has closer ratios for obvious reasons. This is my only qualm with it.

At 100km/h the engine revs are at 3000rpm in 4th. I would loved a 5th or overdrive for a higher top end and/or better highway economy.

Thats right.

That being said, the tiptronic shines in the rural hilly areas on the beach runs having more control of the cars output. The economy is great too.

Yea its meant for low-end torque.
Your cruising gear is 4th so dont expect much from it, 3rd gear must feel real aggressive.

It's for a ck.
The stock cs2 brakes are a 1" upgrade to the stock ck brakes.
Right now I'm using stock 14" wheels.
I'll send you a Pm later to check and see if i can get those bigger brakes. The stock cs are fine for me because it might put a strain on my braking system if i use anything bigger

My car is non abs also.

I need to change the spark plugs on a 4G15 GDI engine. Anyone know the required gap spacing required?

Sb64, I did a while back for my cs2 , got a, f.u. Set , I had to buy the entire assembly though rotor, caliper, spindle paid $400. Per side , it had a nice set of akebono brake pads in them too .

This is a first...

I thought coilovers was the best because it can be adjusted/twerked to suit you.

Im seeing the BKR5E-11 with 1.1mm gap being sold locally and the BKR5E 0.9mm gap is hard to find locally.

car sometimes starts with CEL which goes out after a while.

once it was parked. would start and cut off. unplugging sensor on throttle body and plugging back in car started and worked well for a week or so.

car felt sluggish, idle ridiculously low, got home and then cut off. unplugging and plugging back in throttle body sensor car started with no CEL, and seems to be working.

Has anyone ever experienced same with that sensor's jack getting slack, after rolling through rough terrain causing similar issues?

wagonrunner this happened to me once where cel came on and car jerked and was idling like sheit, car went in limp mode and was very slow.
A clean in my maf sensor and a restart had to be done in order to fix whateva error the ecu picked up.
Depending on which engine you hav you could look at cleaning your maf or map sensor before looking at Throttle sensor.
