GDI 4G93 turbo : ride probs

Havin some probs with d ride.

Recently bought it. plenty people tell me bout d GDI phantom but i still play fass and buy it.

Now, i loosing power and d transmission starting to give a lil *bump* when changing gears. (it triptonic)

Getting a faint gas smell in the oil, and it burning gas like ah beyotch.

Went by steve in couva, told me i have to change engine. spoke to another guy and said its the rings, it might be able to fix.

Any reply on this?

tranny mount prob bad or fluid needs changing...
does it black smoke?

spark plugs for rich mixtures, oxygen sensors get fouled up bad in gdi s ,,, cat converter gets clogged chop it off,...... fuel needs cleaning....redline total fuel cleaner [a detergent] and transmission fluid needs changing if 2nd gear in tiptron sticks a little, or transmiss mount..... btw clean the throttlebody.

It's been a while not going through the post on this forum, but I had this same problem. Anil ...yes Mr. Evo King that everyone says not to go by despite him knowing his work checked it out and informed me that the piston rings are damaged and said it can be fixed but to source the rings would take a little time. I had him change the engine in September, 2012 because my family depends on this car too, $12000.00 for a used engine but what can I say it working ...well running like ah dog!
