you can 1) put a fwd box on it 2) lock the transfer 3) make it awd .. all have many drawbacks but are possible.

1) Need to mate the 4g63 with a FWD mitsubishi trans may be the best bet. But you will need to beef up those internals to handle that power. Also torque steer may be an issue.

2) Some say it works fine, others report a loss in power. Personally i think it is a ratch and dont trust that.

3) Lots of cutting, fabricating, measurements, time, knowledge and money. need the entire subframe and driveshaft from an AWD equipped car, transmission/transfer case/axles/ hubs, brakes, front and back from 4g63 and cut the trunk flooring. Also a split type gas tank or fuel cells would be needed.

4g63t Awd into 2003 cedia fwd...

possible?... Yup. 2003 Cedia needs Evo 4 - Evo 9 engine... EXPENSIVE!!!
E7 4G63 = $25k :!: + stronger box + brake upgrade + suspension upgrade + maybe rims/tyres.
IMHO if you can't afford to do ALL of the above... DON'T bother to do it at all. Tune engine instead.
easy?... Not so much... ... but not that difficult.
Imported Gen 3 Eclipse (engine on drivers' side) is less powerful but MUCH cheaper alternative.

More details here... Link--> How To "Evolutionize" your Lancer!

ISSUES:
get me moving?... Yup...
get me cornerin'?... Nope!... BIG issues here.
IMHO Evo 7-9 front struts + Evo front & rear (or rr. 1.8 GSR) stabilizer bars should be okay.

get me stoppin'?... Nope! Even BIGGER issues here... and at 150 mph... IT'S AN ISSUE!
MINIMUM recommended brake system = 4wd 1800 GSR (CM5A) ft. & rr. calipers/rotors etc.
IMHO still TOO small. Even these fade too often after hard use. Been there... Done that!

BUDGET recommended brake system = Galant VR4 / Evo 4.

OPTIMUM recommended brake system = Brembos (Evo 4 to Evo 9) + 17" Evo rims & tyres.

Whichever you choose, get the matching calipers/rotors (rear if possible) AND Master Cylinder.

My $0.02¢
