Hilux 2.4 vs 2.8

The D4D engines could be distinguished 2.5 vs 3.0 by simply looking at the engine bay. How do you tell the 2.4 vs the 2.8 GD6 on the newer models?

Same as the old ones
The 2.4 comes with the 17" 3spoke wheel only and the rack on the tray, similarly the previous gen: the 2.5 came with the rack on the tray and 15" wheels
The 2.8 comes with either the 17" 3spoke wheel if midpsec or 18" 6spoke if SRV.
No rack on the tray.
Thats the easy to spot traits
Foreign specs are harder to distinguish
