I have a local 2006 Yaris 1.3L 2NZ-FE engine without VVTi so ecu has no pinout or wire harness for vvti oil control valve. Need to replace head and block but all replacements have VVTi. Can I replace engine and just leave out the vvti oil control valve connection? Stock ecu won't read it anyway.
OR if I replace complete engine with vvti and ecu, would I have to rewire? All sensors are the same except the vvti oil control valve. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
