Postby EFFECTIC DESIGNS » March 6th, 2019, 12:03 pm

Thoughts?

D-Max how hard parts is to get and price of it compared to Hilux?

D-Max have poor resale value and when this happens it is usually cause there is issue finding parts

Looking at a 2001 model TBE or something so.

Would also try to avoid buying any new vehicle since according to popular youtuber Scotty Kilmer, buying new model Diesel vehicles is a bad idea because they are overly complex hence defeating the whole point of Diesel simplicity.

I will go with Scotty Kilmer's advice and buy a older model Diesel Vehicle since their maintenance is much lower and they are simpler to fix especially by mango tree mechanics or even yourself.

Those TBE to TBU Hilux are the so called never done manual gear box Hilux, I know a few people with them nothing but good things I heard about it, so I feel I will do that and forget the Dmax
