silvertop o2 sensor

Postby toyotademon » February 6th, 2018, 8:29 pm

can someone please tell me which aftermarket o2 sensor will work on the 4age 20v SILVERTOP engine...ive been searching for weeks online, $2500 and 6 - 8 weeks from tttl part# 89465-19495 or 89465-12290. i know its 4 wire with a flange and its a titania sensor which uses a reference voltage from the ecu, i checked bosch and denso website cross references which has every o2 sensor known to man except that one. starting to think toyota's engineers pulled that sensor from the depths of hell or something.

thanks in advance

Like the silvertop ppl dont use o2 sensors awa...lol
i saw some youtube videos and read online alot of ppl using zirconia sensors on their silvertop.
i installed a Denso 234-4072 Oxygen Sensor (zirconia) over the weekend, had to widen the flange holes a bit to get it to fit, and wired it up. no exhaust leaks, no cel codes and by using a multimeter am seeing the the voltage swing. car feels a bit better, have not tried it out on the road yet to see if fuel economy has improved. ill report back when i do but am wondering though, how do you really know when the ecu is actually using the sensor signal to trim fuel? the voltage swing i saw is coming from the sensor, how do i know the ecu is accepting the signal from the sensor?

any thoughts on this?
