Toyota fielder hybrid wagon review

I bought a roro 2014 Toyota fielder hybrid wagon 2 weeks ago. I’m very satisfied with the gas consumption almost 1000km to the tank..
The suspension is remarkable and the display on the dash is amazing, shows how it’s charging and discharging and power to the wheels. At first I wasn’t sure about buying a hybrid because of all the battery talk being expensive but I’m truly satisfied.
The engine is a 1.5 with a mere 74hp 82 lb.ft however I did 180km+ easily.. I would recommend.

RWD congrats on your car. This is the 1NZ-FXE engine right? If so then this would be the exact drivetrain found in the Aqua / Prius C which moves better than the Fielder due to its lighter weight. I hope this thread turns out into a healthy discussion for all Corolla Axio and Fielder Hybrid owners.

this one and 141 are decent ones..I own the 141 and my brother in law has the one above.gas consumption is great and suspension is ideal but still take no risk..have mines over 4 years..only recently I changed shocks..usually use 10w 30 on oil..now using Mobil 1 fully synt but otherwise very faithful.

Seems as tho toyota has almost perfected the hybrid. I really looking forward to see how these cars age, next 10 years or so. Havent work on one yet.

I am very concerned that the leaf's battery isnt liquid cooled to me in this climate there will be concerns about its longevity especially for those who drive alot in the during the day.
That being said for me personally I can see it being my next daily. But that wont be for another couple of years.

How fast does it pull off?
The electric motor launches a hybrid then the gas motor takes over?

Nothing new here, as expected from any Toyota made vehicle the quality is top notch, there is a reason Toyota status is considered legendary world wide.
however I would still prefer buying a Hyundai Elantra 5th Gen and up or the Ionic Hybrid purely on its looks and good quality aswell. It probably doesn't hold up to Toyota perfection but all those new model Hyundai vehicles are beyond beautiful it makes the Toyotas look hideous in comparison.
An unfortunate reality of Toyota, ugly vehicles but legendary quality and suspension.

I got an axio a few weeks ago. It's comfortable and the mileage is fantastic. Makes me want to drive that alone. Got the fielder fully loaded on Friday, latest one with a real nice body kit. The only thing I haven't figured out is what the / 100 on the info gauge is about. Have to learn Japanese, or is there a setting on the menu for English? Don't worry too much about batteries, almost new ones are available cheap in the us from damaged late model vehicles.

The Axio and new model corolla are very nice looking, "nowhere as nice as the Hyundai Elentras which look like a Lamborghini sibling" but still nice enough, this is an exception to the NZE, 111, 101 etc which are ugly like ass.
Fantastic vehicles if you ignore the looks.
