Okay I'm hearing a loud knocking noise emanating from the engine and a mechanic told me it's a bearing down by the connecting rod for the Pistons going through. The solution is to replace the head and block so I've searched for one and to be honest the prices I'm heating is ludicrous! So my question is, can a 1zz head and block work back on a 3zz setup? As strangely enough I can get the 1zz head and block alot cheaper than the 3zz head and block or does anyone know where I can get a 3zz head and block for reasonable price?
