Toyota Fielder 141 Headlamp proplem

I have a 141 Fielder with the projector headlights that has the built in hid (low beam). When driving the right side sometimes cut off, and if you just switch off the lights and put it back on it will work again and cut off.

What is causing this, is it the switch or the bulb?

Check for water damage. Possibly the bulb might be going

hey civic2281,

I've got the same problem with my NZE 121.

Did you resolve this issue yet? Would like to know what was the issue.

Switch bulbs from left to right to determine if its a defective HID Bulb.
If the problem continues on the same side, its more than likely, the ballast/transformer is defective.
Original equipment is very pricey and it might be more cost effective to retro-fit a generic HID package.

More than likely it's the ballast. Just order a d2r ballast getting an oem Toyota will be hard

Thanks guys.

I suspected the ballast could be defective. Will still try to switch the bulbs.
