Hi folks , any recommendation on brand replacement shocks for the Ltouring? Couple say KYB but some others have told me Gabriel if you can get them. Need to keep the back of the car up as i am a heavyweight also. Know of any struts from some other model that would fit and have more capacity? Finally are there poly bushings available for the L Touring?
Thanks

I am currently using KYB gas shocks on my L Touring and they work well, however the back of my wagon seems to be low for some reason so i'm currently seeking a solution for that.

ltouring uses thicker springs than the dx wagon. so no dx replacement...some ppl swap springs for a softer ride but in turn, those springs cannot take weight as the original ltouring. kyb are good shocks but be aware there are fake kyb that look like the original. you have to look for the made in japan emboss on the originals, no sticker....i did some digging and found that sookhai's diesel are the distributors for the fake kyb shocks and are selling it cheaper to auto shops so be aware.
there is a guy, droppa in warrenville who does retensioning and sylvester in barataria

The back springs for the Ltouring are slightly thicker and the space between the coils are larger. I went through a very long process to get back my L Touring back to the original ride.Dave's in Penal is where I got the original springs to buy brand new. Shocks and spring for the back $1700.00
