shock absorbers for AE100

hope i can get some help. Am looking to change shocks soon and looking to get that drop low look. Now i know about the coilover setup but i think that is for racing setup plus the price off them WOW. This is my daily driven and mostly south to north runs. I have some coilover sleeve installed in that back on the kyb shocks i believe. It was ok for a while but now its bounce alot 
once it not on smooth road. Can't really say what model kyb it is but while doing some research i read that kyb excel G series was decent enough to handle coilover sleeves and would give me a good ride and also last longer. If you think you have a better setup plz feel free to let me know of it. Budget wise am trying not to cross $4000. Car is an ae100 corolla.
