Fielder 141 A/C problems

yeah fellas,need some advice on solving some a/c issues i have with my '08 fielder..if the a/c is on and i start hitting about 60k's and up the a/c gets hot on me.if i slow down or at a stand still it cools back down.if it's the compressor what's the cost to get one or can it be repaired,or any other advice will be appreciated...tks.

Does your engine have a separate drive belt for the compressor or does it have a serpentine belt ?


Is it in good condition ?
If it is, is the tension Ok too ?

had a customer 141 did the same, it was the clutch

bought a foreign used one price $ 2500

This seems to be a defect in all 141 fielder's after I've investigated...was advised to do a covers ion using a nze 121 compressor,any hint's on locating one guys?

make sure your ac is not on cycle.....make sure the compressor engages when u turn on the ac.....u will feel the drop and rise in rpm as well as a soft click noise when the compressor clutch engages

the higher rpm means the faster the compressor will work = colder air

also while moving the condensor is getting a steady supply of air so your ac will be cooler as opposed to standstill and relying on the air from the fan

check the relay or wires for the ac fan
check your timing for the 500 rpm....with ac on the step up unit should kick in and idle around 800-1000
wrt the vibrations check your engine/trans mounts.....
