I just bought a Corolla AE111.... Can the rear brakes of this be changed to disc brakes?? if so would I need to modify anything or can I get original parts for the disc brakes??

of course you can put rear disc brakes on the AE111, you will need to use the rear disc set-up from a levin, they are available in the Bamboo and other foreign used parts places, but you will have to check around tho (kinda rare nowadays)...................
once you get the Levin set, it's a bolt-on application, no cutting, welding etc. needed...........
you may need to upgrade your brake union though, to better distribute the increased flow of brake fluid.........
My mechanic sourced the set i have on my AE110 right now, it's a great performance upgrade, but i think it's only really necessary if u runnin' considerable power under the hood (they do hold pretty sweet tho.....)
If you want i can give you his # and he can source as well as install a set for you, his garage is walking distance from the Bamboo, so he know all the owners and gets the best deals..........
