Hey i am buying a 2004 rx330 and the owner said that he did a diagnostic and the engine and radiator good but the engine over heating he stated he took out the thermostat and the logistic is staying it is a thermostat fault would the problem be resolved with putting back the thermostat? plz help me i wanna buy the vehicle...

These vehicles are designed to operate properly with the thermo in place.
Overheating would not be caused by a proper functioning thermo.
If there is overheating,the vehicle needs to be taken to the shop to determine cause which may include a blown head gasket.
Removal of thermo for overheating is not a fix and could actually under certain operating conditions make matters worse e.g low velocity high rpm runs such as ride to Maracas.
Additionally a diagnostic scan for error codes may not pick-up a damaged head gasket which has not failed totally (best not to wait for that).
Hopefully its only a temp switch failure.
